K. Vaughn Knight practices primarily in the areas of general corporate law, real estate transactions, estate planning, commercial litigation, and agricultural law. Mr. Knight also practices in the areas of probate and personal injury. Prior to forming Knight Halbert LLP, Mr. Knight was a partner in the firm of Jones & Knight, LLP, and prior to that, he practiced with Matthews, Campbell, Rhoads, McClure, Thompson & Fryauf in Rogers, Arkansas.
Before attending law school, Mr. Knight operated a large farming business in Eastern Arkansas, consisting of approximately 17,000 acres of cotton, corn, soybeans, rice, grain sorghum, and wheat. Mr. Knight’s farming operation also included a cotton gin, cotton warehouse, and aerial application business.
Mr. Knight received his Juris Doctor Degree in December of 2001 from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He also received an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in May of 2002. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
